This is the procurement step that follows the Cabinet approval this wire already carries, and it is the first evidence that the approved railway is moving towards contracts rather than sitting as a sanction. A pre-bid meeting is where the client explains the package to the market and answers questions before bids are invited.
The meeting was chaired by Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) Pradeep Gupta, with Chief Engineer Kamlesh Kumar, Chief Electrical Engineer R.D. Meena and Deputy Chief Signal and Telecom Engineer Ratan Basu present, and a presentation by Deputy Chief Engineer Prashant Singh. Whether the EPC tender has since been issued is not something we can confirm, so that row reads unknown.
