DeshGujarat reported on 27 July 2026 that Vanitalav Bhal village in Dholera taluka was cut off after the Bhogavo river overflowed following heavy rainfall, with police, the district administration and the National Disaster Response Force running rescue operations.

Three thousand two hundred trees are growing in Dholera's salt flats inside plastic drums

DeshGujarat reported on 4 June 2026 that more than 3,200 trees of 15 species are growing at Block No. 29 in Dholera using a drum plantation technique, with the saplings planted in August 2025 inside plastic drums and a further 50,000 planned.
