Contracts and awards

This page lists the actual construction contracts at Dholera: who won them, on what date, for how much money, and on what basis. Almost none of this has been reported anywhere, because the awards sit inside the development company's statutory annual report rather than in press releases. A signed contract with a named contractor and a rupee figure is the hardest evidence a construction project produces.

DICDL terminated its water treatment plant contract with M/s SPML Infra Limited on 1 January 2021 for non-fulfilment of terms, and five years later the two sides are still in arbitration with claims running in opposite directions.

The Dholera tent city was awarded on 27 March 2025 to M/s Kamnath Private Limited on a public private partnership with a ten year operating period, and the annual report records Rs 1.55 crore of management fees receivable by DICDL rather than a construction cost paid out.
