PIB Release ID 1833823: Cabinet approves Dholera airport
The founding document of the Dholera airport story, issued on 14 June 2022 when the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs cleared phase one.
It gives the approved cost as Rs 1,305 crore, a completion window of 48 months, operations planned from 2025-26, the shareholding of the airport company, and the passenger and cargo traffic estimates. Every later claim about when the airport would open is a revision of this release.
