Three thousand two hundred trees are growing in Dholera's salt flats inside plastic drums

DeshGujarat reported on 4 June 2026 that more than 3,200 trees of 15 species are growing at Block No. 29 in Dholera using a drum plantation technique, with the saplings planted in August 2025 inside plastic drums and a further 50,000 planned.
