Ahmedabad Rural Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat described continuous inflow from the upstream Bhogavo creating an island-like situation. The road connecting Vanitalav Bhal to Anandpur and Buranpur was closed after being submerged. Flooding across Ahmedabad district since 23 July had affected around 10,000 people, which is a district figure and not a Dholera figure.
No source says the activation area or any SIR infrastructure was affected, and we are not implying it. This is Dholera taluka, the administrative area, and the industrial region sits inside it.
