A Japanese water industry mission inspected Dholera's water and effluent plants
The India Water Mission delegation, led by JETRO, the Japan Machinery Center for Trade and Investment and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, visited Dholera on 31 January 2025 and inspected the water treatment plant, the common effluent treatment plant, the sewage treatment plant and the stormwater and distribution systems.
Confirmed by an official document: a government release, a filing, or the company's own published statement.
Water is Dholera's hardest problem, because the region is coastal, saline and short of fresh water, so a delegation of Japanese water solution companies walking the plants is a more meaningful visit than most. No agreement is recorded as following it.
On 31 January 2025 the India Water Mission delegation led by JETRO, the Japan Machinery Center for Trade and Investment and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry visited Dholera SIR, comprising representatives of Japanese water solution companies, and visited the Water Treatment Plant, CETP, STP, stormwater management and distribution systems.
