PIB Release ID 2233516: the expressway, from the road ministry
The most detailed public description of the Ahmedabad to Dholera expressway that exists, issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on 27 February 2026.
It records the road as 109.019 kilometres at a total project cost of Rs 5,800 crore, open to the public for testing at that date, with 11 interchanges, 86 underpasses, a 30 metre median designed for expansion to eight lanes, an airport interchange at chainage 67, and 60 lakh tonnes of municipal waste reused in the embankment. It also gives Ahmedabad to Dholera as 83 kilometres in 45 minutes by road.
