Dholera's 200-bed hospital contract went to an SCC Infrastructure and P. R. Patel joint venture

The state company building Dholera awarded the contract for a 200-bed hospital on 16 December 2024 at a total project cost of Rs 133.68 crore, and construction started on site on 7 February 2025.

Confirmed by an official document: a government release, a filing, or the company's own published statement.

The work went to a joint venture of M/s SCC Infrastructure and M/s P. R. Patel & Co. on an EPC basis. EPC means engineering, procurement and construction, where one contractor carries both the design and the build for an agreed price rather than the client managing the two separately. The report names M/s Hites as the project management consultant. The hospital sits on a plot of 9,668 square metres with a built-up area of 15,815 square metres.

This is worth reading because a hospital is one of the things a place needs before anybody will live in it, and because the contract has not been reported anywhere. The award paragraph sits on page 22 of a 115 page statutory report on a government portal, which is the sort of document that gets published and then never opened.
