What DICDL had out to tender on 11 August 2026: a cleanroom, two desalination contracts and no published values
We opened the DICDL tender board on 11 August 2026 and found six live invitations, none of them awarded and none of them carrying a published estimated value.
Carried by credible news outlets. No official document confirms it yet.
The six are a cleanroom design and construction contract on an EPC basis, operation and maintenance of the food court, a 20 MLD common effluent treatment plant, development of a 50 MLD sea water reverse osmosis desalination plant on a hybrid annuity model, operation and management of the investor accommodation facility, and consultancy for the detailed project report on a proposed 200 MLD seawater desalination plant. MLD means million litres a day. A hybrid annuity model is a contract where the government pays part of the cost during construction and the rest in instalments once the plant is running.
Two things stand out. The cleanroom tender is new to our record, and a cleanroom is the sealed, filtered space a chip plant needs, so DICDL putting one out to tender itself is worth following. And the food court and accommodation operations contracts are for buildings whose construction contracts appear elsewhere on this wire, awarded in 2025.
We checked the same board on 4 August 2026 and it carried a different six, including an annual rate contract for construction and a project management consultant appointment that are no longer listed. A live tender board changes, so this entry is a dated snapshot and nothing more. The portal publishes no estimated contract values at all, which is why the value column below is empty rather than filled.
