GAP Associates won a Dholera plot at auction for a mixed-use scheme it values at about Rs 2,000 crore

M/s GAP Associates was issued a letter of award on 14 November 2024 after winning a Dholera plot at e-auction, for a residential and commercial scheme the annual report records at an investment of approximately Rs 2,000 crore.

Confirmed by an official document: a government release, a filing, or the company's own published statement.

Read the figure carefully. Rs 2,000 crore is the awardee's stated investment intention as DICDL recorded it. It is not a contract price, it is not money spent, and it is not what the plot sold for. The auction price is not disclosed anywhere in the report, and the plot area is not either.

The design as described covers studio apartments with two-bedroom apartments, a club, a banquet hall, a 100 room hotel, co-working space and retail. The report gives two different counts for the studio apartments in two different paragraphs, one saying more than 500 and the other more than 1,000, so both are printed below and neither is presented as the number.
