The chief minister laid the foundation stone for the hospital, school and fire station after the contracts had already been signed
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel virtually laid the foundation stone for Dholera's 200-bed hospital, integrated school and fire station on 5 March 2025, at the opening of Gujarat Semiconnect 2025 in Gandhinagar.
Confirmed by an official document: a government release, a filing, or the company's own published statement.
The sequence is in one government document and it is worth laying out in order. The hospital contract was awarded on 16 December 2024. The school and fire station contracts were awarded on 28 February 2025. The foundation stone came on 5 March 2025, five days after the second pair of contracts and nearly three months after the first.
None of that is unusual for a public project, where a ceremony is scheduled around a summit rather than around a spade. We are setting the dates out because a foundation stone is often read as the start of a project, and here it was not.
At the inaugural ceremony of Gujarat Semiconnect-2025, held 5 to 7 March 2025 in Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel virtually laid the foundation stone for several social infrastructure projects at Dholera SIR including a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital, an integrated school and a fire station. Dr. Kuldeep Arya, IAS, managing director of DICDL, presented at a thematic seminar.
